Kratom vs. Alcohol

Kratom could be one of the miracle solutions for alcoholics who seek freedom.

People report that they began taking kratom to get off opioids, but by using kratom, they also lost their desire for alcohol.

Kratom seems to be a sort of antidote to both opioid dependence and alcoholism. Kratom appears to act as a means to satisfy opioid receptors, which satisfaction also somehow, wonderfully, washes away the desire for liquor in its wake. This factor of kratom usage holds significant promise for those who are trying to stop abusing alcoholic beverages.

Individuals who use kratom have said that it balances them, and gives them a natural feeling of being adjusted internally. Rather than hit you with some weird chemical high, kratom seems to even out emotions and increase energy.

By providing a wide range of physical and mental benefits, kratom seems able to roar right into an alcoholic’s system and therapeutically kick some major ass. Here is something unexpected: former alcoholics who now use kratom didn’t necessarily have quitting liquor as a goal.

Many ex-alcoholics who have switched to kratom were drawn to kratom due to their having excruciating pain, deep depression, extremely lethargy and lack of motivation, or other issues. The kratom took care of whatever physical or emotional symptoms they were experiencing, these patients woke up one day and had no desire for beer, whiskey, wine, gin, scotch, or any other liquor at all.

It’s wonderful that one natural plant substance can provide such a wide spectrum of benefits to humans and other mammals. (See our article on kratom for dogs.)

Probably the best way to use kratom for such reported results is to use raw powder. Extracts and concentrates may be too potent, aside from emergencies, such as acute flare-ups of symptoms.

The closer to the natural state, the safer and more effective a substance tends to be. Derivatives and lab analogs are concocted as products that may be easier to calibrate serving sizes, administer to the sick, standardize for potency, and other considerations.

Kratom, in its natural form is wonderful and has gotten the attention of researchers. Of course, the main objective tends to be understanding how kratom works, and figuring out how to isolate certain alkaloids that produce effects, and synthesize them in a lab.

So, it’s not just kratom in its natural, dried, granulated, resin, or liquid extract concentrate form. Now, researchers are synthesizing certain chemical structures of kratom alkaloids in the lab for use in pharmaceutical products, as expected.

One might have mixed feelings about this, the idea of pharmaceutical companies tampering with nature and concocting derivatives and analogs of kratom. Hopefully, these studies will result in useful, safe, inexpensive pharmaceutical medicines that do more good than harm. On its own, by itself, kratom in its natural state has nearly no downsides once a person gets used to it.

If you or a loved one suffers from Alcohol Abuse Syndrome or want to quit for other reasons, give kratom a try. See what wonders happen for you.
